As part of TotalEnergies, the teams at Lubmarine embrace safety as a value that is implemented every day in all activities with a common goal of: “zero fatal accidents”, ensuring the safety of staff, customers, partners and contractors.

To coincide with this year’s World Day for Safety and Health at Work, which takes place on April 28th, the Lubmarine team will be part of a company wide initiative to address the theme of ‘Technological Risks’.

Through a range of materials including presentations, literature, posters and talks, multiple hazards around Technological Risk prevention will come under the banner – ‘Everyone’s involved, Everyone has a role’.

Attention is being paid to the risks for people, the environment or assets, resulting from accidental exposure related to any toxic, explosive, flammable or harmful products used, manufacturing and production processes, in addition to the flow of raw materials and finished, stored or transported products.

“Safety is paramount to control the risks related to our operations and processes to help prevent accidents that could impact people, the environment, and our assets. Ours is an increasingly technological business and the reality is that technological risks can be hidden in what can be seen as everyday activities and are more common than people might think.

“So World Day for Safety is a great opportunity for us to reinforce our commitment to safety across all our operations and in particular – draw attention to the threat that technical risks can pose, highlight some of the key ones, identify and reinforce our 4 pillars of hazard identification, risk assessment, prevention and control measures and emergency preparedness and response,” said Mariane Axt, Safety & Supply Chain Director.

TotalEnergies commitment: Safety, for me, for you, for all.
