Lubmarine’s Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs) and grease portfolio is designed for the environmentally conscious shipowners seeking high levels of performance.
It is recommended for use with all oil-to-sea equipment interfaces, on any machinery operating in severe conditions, including high and low temperatures as well as high levels of humidity.
The marine EAL oil and grease range is popular on a wide variety of ships including dredgers, fishing boats, offshore support vessels and deep-sea commercial vessels.
Shipowners benefit from a full line of EAL compliant with the 2013 US Vessel General Permit (VGP) requirements.
The EAL oil range is suitable for all oil-to-sea interfaces:
- Hydraulic circuit,
- Stern tube,
- Enclosed gear, open gear and chains.
The EAL grease range is suitable with deck equipment including:
- Rudder bearing,
- Lifting gears and davits,
- Hatch covers and shell doors,
- Side and stern ramps and winches.
Developed in close collaboration with equipment manufacturers, our marine EAL oils and greases have approval from OEMs including all stern tube makers. Our global EALs range allow ship's crew to operate on-board machinery within a high safety margin, whilst maximising equipment service life and optimising maintenance.
