How was the 1.5% fuel-savings figure calculated for Aurelia FE?
The figure is a weighted average of fuel savings measured at different engine loads according to the standardized MARPOL E3 test cycle on an engine bench test, by using Aurelia FE vs an equivalent reference lubricant. The measurement methodology was validated by Bureau Veritas.
