IMPA 2018 London review

Refreshed after a busy week in Hamburg for the biennial SMM event, Total Lubmarine was back in the UK on 11-12 September for IMPA London 2018.

This year Total Lubmarine took the opportunity to display from a new location in the venue, making us more visible to exhibition attendees.

The team ran a series of sessions during the event, with a particular focus on the upcoming Sulphur Cap 2020 regulation. The sessions discussed the different compliance options available to adhere to the changes taking place from January 1, 2020, with a particular focus on LNG options. There was an additional emphasis on the products in the Total Lubmarine portfolio that support each specific option, demonstrating our ability to match whatever choice our customers make post 2020, with a suitable solution.

The Total Lubmarine team in London included Global Brand Manager, Stuart Fuller, who spoke positively about the event following a productive two days:

“Once again Total Lubmarine supported the IMPA calendar with a strong presence at IMPA London 2018. Hot on the heels of a very busy SMM, the Lubmarine team were out in force again to meet with customers, new contacts, old friends and acquaintances. IMPA London is like no other maritime event in the calendar, with the two days offering a unique opportunity to meet with people in a more relaxed environment.”

IMPA London is the favored exhibition to many within the procurement and supply chain management field. The annual exhibition runs for two days in September and is complemented by a wide range of allied activities including conferences, presentations and demonstrations, education programmes and social events.

While IMPA London provides a smaller and more intimate environment for networking and discussion than some of the industry’s other events, it is by no means insignificant, with 150 companies exhibiting from over 30 countries, IMPA is known for attracting high-quality visitors.
