On the sidelines of London International Shipping Week (LISW), this year’s annual IMPA London maritime procurement event took place at the QEII, London.
With 150 companies exhibiting from over 30 countries, IMPA London provides a smaller and more intimate environment for networking and discussion than some of the industry’s other events.
Amongst the Total Lubmarine team in London was UK country manager, Melanie Cook and Global Brand Manager, Stuart Fuller. The latter spoke positively about the event following a productive two days:
“With a strategy to communicate the imminence of IMO 2020 very much the focus at last year’s event, this year it was about building awareness of the transition to 2020 and then beyond. Through our Global Sulfur Cap Forums this year we have been communicating with customers our readiness. Whichever compliance strategy shipowners look to take, Total Lubmarine has a solution.
Speaking more specifically on the event, Melanie Cook added:
“Total Lubmarine has been supporting the IMPA event for a number of years now, with a strong presence once again in 2019 to meet with customers, new contacts and industry acquaintances. The intimacy of IMPA London makes it quite different from other industry events. The two days offer a unique opportunity to meet with people in a more relaxed and focused environment.”
IMPA London is the favored exhibition to many within the procurement and supply chain management field. The annual exhibition runs for two days in September and is complemented by a wide range of allied activities including conferences, presentations and demonstrations, education programs and social events.
