Significantly bolstering delivery capability in Belgium, Total Lubmarine’s newest barge will help to streamline operations.
After Total Lubmarine contracted a time charter for the barge, she started operations on November 14th 2017. Capable of carrying 1,500 tonnes of lubricants in its 20 tanks, M/V Trafuco 9 began operations in Antwerp in early November, loading her first consignment from the Total Ertvelde plant. The 73m long, 10m wide barge is owned by Trafuco, a logistics and transport provider specialising in road, rail and water.
Trafuco 9 began her life in Kladovo shipyard. After this early stage of construction, Trafuco 9 left Kladovo in mid-April, moving to another shipyard at Dordrecht, where she was equipped with the engines, pumps and steering systems. Now as a fully functioning part of Total Lubmarine’s delivery capability, this modern addition is of great benefit to the company and its customers.
In Antwerp, Total Lubmarine offers bulk deliveries of main grades for Atlanta Marine D 3005, Aurelia TI 3030, Aurelia TI 4030, Aurelia TI 4040, Disola M 3015, Disola M 4015, Talusia Universal, Talusia HR 70, Talusia Universal 100 and Talusia LS 25. For other main grades, bulk deliveries and deliveries of packed products are possible with extra working days notice.
