Total Lubmarine is delighted to announce that it has retained a major contract to supply the Panama Canal Authority four-stroke power plant at Miraflores with marine lubricants for a further three years. Total Lubmarine will supply 340 metric tonnes of Aurelia TI 4040 a year to the Authority’s power plant, which is powered by three MAN 18V48/60 engines.
Total Lubmarine and Maxum Oil Services were awarded the contract, beating off competition from a number of rivals. The companies were originally awarded the contract in 2013 and were recently invited to participate in a pitch to retain the business.
A key factor in the companies’ success in retaining the contract was a proven record of providing excellent technical services and timely deliveries from Maxum’s local blending facility.
Total Lubmarine Marketing Director Serge Dal Farra said:
“For us this is great news, we were delighted to be re-awarded this prestigious contract, beating off tough competition to retain the business. The Panama Canal Authority has our continued assurance of timely delivery of products; excellent technical expertise; customer service and access to our innovative range of lubricants.”
