Bringing together a host of the region’s most influential maritime companies and clients, last month’s Total Lubmarine Seminar in Luang Prabang, Laos saw the participation of partners from Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and New Zealand.
Delivering industry insights and encouraged further collaboration, the Total Lubmarine Seminar was an opportunity to share ideas and foster closer relationships. Total Lubmarine has continued to effectively distribute its products in the Asia Pacific region, and remains dedicated to collaboration with the region’s shipping industry and its companies. From engine oil to water-resistant grease – Total Lubmarine delivers seamless service to the region.
The day began with a presentation from Lubmarine General Manager Robert Joore – who shared the vision of the company, as well as highlighting important market trends that effect the industry. Speaking about the seminar, Robert said:
“Our goal is to help our customers in the Asia Pacific region to optimise their OPEX and reduce complexity, ensuring that they make the correct decisions when it comes to lubrication. We also want to collaborate with our customers and the shipping community, working with you to strengthen our industry against change.
We remain passionate and positive about shipping in 2018. After all, we are charterers, shippers and marine suppliers – meaning that we are in a position to deliver credible solutions that create value for our customers.“
After Robert’s presentation, Andrew Knox, Managing Director at Total Lubmarine Hong Kong and Mike Wong, Asia-Pacific Technical Director discussed the upcoming 2020 Sulphur Cap – giving everyone present a better understanding on important 2020 issues and possible solutions. This was followed by further discussions on other prevalent topics and a chance for networking.
