We are delighted to reveal that across the Lubmarine business we have successfully achieved more than 4,000 days of safe working practices without a single TRIR accident. It is an amazing achievement and continued recognition of how all our employees and partners across the supply chain continue to implement improvements in a safety-first approach and build-in safety across all working practices. While we are a global business, a lifetime of experience and cultural history shapes people and their judgments of situations or decisions that are made on how best to minimise risk of an incident happening.
As employers with operations offshore and onshore, we are responsible for ensuring that the working environment is safe and healthy. Culture that influences how safety is viewed, affected, and applied should always be the ultimate goal. We also believe mental health is just as important as physical safety, which is why we are investing more into resilience initiatives that help make our business a safety-critical business – using systems, processes, technology and people to absorb and ‘catch’ the risks before they happen.
At Lubmarine, and across TotalEnergies, we believe all accidents can be prevented. Even though our activities offshore and onshore present a variety of risks, shared principles are vital to accident prevention.
