Total Lubmarine will be sponsoring the Motorship Propulsion & Emissions conference, held in Hamburg on 10-11 May 2017. Our Technical Director, Jean Philippe Roman will be discussing fuel economy, the potential for CO2 emission reduction by using low viscosity and low friction lubricants in 4-stroke medium speed marine engines. He will also be taking part in the panel discussion the following day, entitled ‘Digital strategies for vessels and fleet optimisation.’
Jean Philippe Roman joined Total in 1988 and spent 18 years in our research center developing marine lubricants and top tier automotive lubricants. He was appointed as Technical Director in 2007.
This is the 39th Motorship Propulsion & Emission Conference which is well known for bringing together owners, operators and equipment manufacturers to discuss technical advances in-the-field.
